I thought it would work as a “retrieve color pallet from image” function as found in other applications but it doesn’t seem to do that. Palette images are known as Indexed Color mode images in Adobe PhotoShop and palettes are called color tables or color maps in some applications. Krita has a Colors From Image feature that is found in the advanced color selector (see image below). Upload a photo, and well use an algorithm to create your palette.
